Our National Defense Sucks!

Today has just not been a good day. I've been sick for over a week so I decided to go to the doctor today, only to hear that there is nothing that can be done, I just have to suffer! YAY!!! But that's not all folks. I also discovered that my blood sugar level is pretty high and there's a good chance I'm diabetic. It truly is a Wonderful Life isn't it?? So I guess I have to really stick to my New Year's resolution and eat right or my life is going to take a pretty hard turn for the worse! Fun times.

Now on to the big story here. Unless you live under a very large rock you've no doubt heard about the Underwear Jihadist (I coined that name and NO YOU CAN'T HAVE IT!) who tried to board a plane bound to Detroit last week. The UJ had an explosive known as PETN sown into his jockey shorts, which he tried to ignite on board the flight. The plot was foiled with the help of a (get this) Dutch filmmaker who jumped on the UJ and helped keep him from blowing up the plane.

What absolutely amazes me is how easily this scumbag got on board that plane. With all of the technology and the resources available....oh wait....that's right....the government is too busy spending money by bailing out and running failing companies, funding entitlement programs, buying votes for their Socialist health care bill, saving the polar bear population, and the list goes on. If only our tax dollars were being used for important things, like I don't know, NATIONAL DEFENSE!!!

I have a question for you Mr. President. Just when in the hell do you plan on making national security a top priority? I mean let's look at all the crap that has happened in just the last few months:

1. Ft. Hood shooting
2. President's party crashed (twice)
3. Attempted terrorist bombing on board an American bound plane

HELLO!!!!????????

Doesn't this concern anyone else? These radical Muslim nut jobs have claimed responsibility for this attack and are stating that this is only the beginning. I am sick to death of our Commander in Chief constantly taking the side of the terrorists. First he has a problem calling the Ft. Hood shooting a terrorist attack. Then he wants to close Gitmo and bring the terrorists that helped plot 9/11 on to American soil to try them and throw them in a maximum security prison on U.S. soil. If that isn't insulting enough, Obama has the guff to stand up and say that this dirtbag "allegedly" had explosives. What? This isn't an accusation! It was a FACT!

I guess I should know better than to expect the President and his goons to know what a fact is, but come on now. This is ridiculous. Wake up Washington! Protect our borders! Stop treating the terrorists like American citizens and treat them like an enemy combatant!

Exciting Things Ahead For 2010!

Well, here it is the day after Christmas. I hope that everyone had a great holiday season and is looking forward to starting a new year. Regardless of how terrible 2009 has been with all of the government corruption, financial meltdowns, and just all around craziness, lets not forget all that we have to be thankful for. And let us not forget that there is still hope for the future.

That being said, there are a lot of exciting things happening for me and the blog in the upcoming year. I've been in contact with Keith Katsikas from The RIGHT Movement organization. This site has a lot of information to help educate people about our government and legislative processes, as well as helping to connect like-minded Conservatives together from around the country. I am not going to go into detail at the moment about my specific involvement with the group until details are hammered out, but it's going to be a pleasure to work along side this group of people.

I'm also gearing up to launch my own podcast in the next week or so. People's Law podcast will be done 1-2 times a week and will cover current events, economics, interviews, educational segments, and much more. I'll post links to the podcast here on the blog so you can check it out.

I'm also getting ready to start developing a short, small ebook that is geared toward explaining the current economic downturn, massive government spending, and the liberal agenda being forced on America. I'll be offering some simple solutions for some of these issues in the book as well. It'll be a stretch for me as I've never written a book, but I'll do my best. I want to make it educational, inspiring, and entertaining all at the same time. We'll see how it comes out!

In closing I want to thank all of the individuals who are helping me get my blog out to the masses. I've received a lot of support from fellow Conservatives who are working hard to stop the Socialist take over of America and preserving our awesome country for future generations. There is a lot of work to be done this year coming up, so let's all make a commitment to get involved and get our hands dirty!

Merry Christmas From Karl Marx....Errr...Barack Obama!

Well, here it is just a few days before Christmas and I'm down with some type of wicked sore throat. I mean this thing feels like I have a gravel pit in my neck. Sore throats tend to make me feel like crap all over, but not this one. I'm munching on a steady diet of Hall's cough drops hoping to numb the pain so I can concentrate on the tasks of the day.

Meanwhile, it appears that this wonderful socialist health care bill is well on its way to being crammed down the throats of the American people. Those wonderful, loving, wealth-spreading members of the senate voted 60-39 to shut down debate about the health care bill, and making socialized medicine a reality in the good ole U.S.A.

Washington has done everything possible (whether or legal or not) to make sure this horrendous bill gets passed. From strong armed threats to buying votes from senators willing to whore themselves out, this administration is determined to take more control over the American people.

Nothing says Christmas more than a bill that strips us of our freedom of choice, our right to be heard, and places the power in the hands of the government. Karl Marx would be proud of you President Obama. I however, am not proud of you.

Before anyone jumps on the race card (which I know you Progressive leaders LOVE to use) this has nothing to do with his color, religion, or sex. I'd vote for a black woman candidate if she would do her job to protect my freedom and uphold the Constitution. Truly would. The reason I can't stand Obama is because he doesn't care about our Constitutional rights or our opinion. I don't need a nanny Mr. President, as I am fully capable of taking care of myself.

I find it hilarious that people do not seem to catch on to what is happening here. This bill is all about the government gaining more control over the American public. They don't want to help you, they want to RULE you. They want to tell you where you can go to church, what schools to send your children to, what doctors you can see, what treatments you can have, and so on. Don't you get it? This has been the plan of Progressives in this country since Woodrow Wilson and maybe even before that.

Do you want to be controlled? Do you want to be told who or what you can be? I hope not. I hope you are willing to stand against unconstitutional laws that strip you over your right to be an individual. 2010 is a very important year. We need to elect a new generation of people into Congress who will work to strip this out of control government of its power and put it back into the hands of the people. Are you a member of that generation?

Who’s Excited About Death Panels??!?!!?

I awoke this fine Indiana morning (visiting family for Christmas) to find a beautiful pre Christmas snowfall cascading down from the heavens. Ahhh, nothing says Christmas like good food, family, snow, and death panels! Wait….DEATH PANELS??? WHAT???

After I was finally able to pry my eyelids open I got on the computer to get my daily fix of bad news. Lo and behold I was not at all disappointed (or shocked) to see that so called “conservative” Democrat Big Ben Nelson has reportedly caved in and decided to vote yes on the Senate health care bill. Gee, another Senator without a spine. Who would’ve thought?

I hope America is excited about all the perks of socialized medicine, such as rationing, death panels, and ridiculously long waits for treatment. If this bill passes and it is shaping up to look like an almost guaranteed deal, it will overload the system in time, and will lead to the above mentioned “benefits” of government run health care.

I think Congress needs to take a refresher course on the U.S. Constitution. It is a violation of the rights of the American people to try to force us to buy health care. Health care is NOT a right. It is a privilege. The same as driving. If I want to drive I have to buy car insurance. But I don’t HAVE to drive. I can take public transportation if I want. It’s my choice. Driving is not a guaranteed right in the Constitution and neither is health care. If I have the money in my fat bank roll to pay for my medical care straight out of pocket, why should I be forced to purchase something I don’t need?

Another thing that seems strange to me is how much has been cut from the bill originally. The public option is out and many other pieces of legislation the Dems originally wanted to be part of the health care package. These cuts were made so that this bill could be shoved through Congress as fast as possible. If this bill is failing to meet the vision of the liberals then why such a rush to push it through? Good question eh? The bottom line is that this bill will give the government more power and more say in the lives and choices of American citizens. Nothing makes a socialist, fascist liberal more happy than having more power!

But I guess we need to cut Senator Nelson a little slack. It’s not his fault he’s being strong armed by the Obama administration (who knew Al Capone would be president) into giving a yes vote to government run health care. According to the Weekly Standard the White House once again used thug tactics of intimidation to force their will upon the masses by threatening to shut down a very important air force base. This base, which is located in Nebraska is a huge part of their economy and would result in the loss of 10,000 jobs. Got to love the “Chicago Way” of doing politics. Poor Nelson, no wonder he gave in.

I plead with the people of Nebraska to blow up your Senator’s phone line and demand that he vote no to this insane health care bill regardless of the consequences. Demand that he grow a spine and stand up for what is right and heed the voice of the American people. Let’s send Washington a message. Let’s tell them that their acts of thuggery will not be tolerated in this country. We need to wake up, take a stand and remind our out of control government they work for us. Listen up Washington! If you do not heed the voice and will of the people YOU WILL BE OUT OF A JOB! God bless America!

Featured Resource: Liberal Fascism by Jonah Goldberg

I've decided to do an article series from time to time that will feature some type of resource that will help educate Conservatives on the issues, history, and current events.

That being said the first resource I would like to recommend is "Liberal Fascism" by Jonah Goldberg. This book was a fantastic look at the true roots of modern day liberalism and the ties it has to fascism and Nazism. Now let me clarify right off the bat that this book is not saying that modern day liberals are Nazis! The author is not by any means stating that liberals like Obama are evil or doing evil works even remotely in the same league as those committed by Hitler. What it is saying is that many of the ideologies, views, and thoughts are very similar to those held by the Nazi Party and other fascist governments.

The whole reason Goldberg decided to write this book was as an answer to the charge made by liberals that all Conservatives and folks on the Right are fascists. So far I've not fallen victim to this myself, although I have been called a racist (typical ploy used by liberals to completely avoid answering questions or facts presented about the issues being discussed). The author takes us on a journey through history, (a history conveniently left out of most school textbooks) to show us that it is not those on the right who have connections to fascism, but the left!

Goldberg starts making his argument by discussing the life and times of Mussolini and ends with an in depth look at Hillary Clinton and the New Age. The author weaves a solid argument with loads of evidence that proves over the course of the book that many ideas central to the liberal train of thought are indeed fascist in origin. One of the most disturbing of these is the connection of liberalism to the dark art of eugenics. That particular chapter of the book almost made me throw up in my mouth a little. I was truly disgusted.

This book is 405 pages (not including the acknowledgments) which is pretty lengthy. In certain spots the book does tend to lag a bit here in there due to the inclusion of necessary details that help connect the beliefs of fascism to the line of thinking held by modern day liberals.

I'm not going to go into any real details about the book itself because that would defeat the purpose of reading the book for yourself. Reading this book was at times quite eerie. Many of the horrifying policies of the early liberals are still being pushed by modern liberals, with the only difference being that modern liberalism tends to hide its true intentions better.

Definitely get a copy of this book and take a look at what liberals tried to sweep under the rug.

Will The President Trample On The Constitution?

As much as I'd love to say that nothing the current administration taking residence in the White House does surprises me, they always finds a way to. The audacity of our President is reaching dangerously high levels. The best evidence for this is his increasing disregard for the opinion of the American people, and for the Constitution written to protect their freedoms and liberties.

President Obama is supposed to be attending the Climate Conference in Copenhagen on Friday where he will completely trample all over the U.S. Constitution and the will of the American people by signing a treaty without the consent or support of Congress. This treaty will bind the U.S. to a deal that promises reductions in the carbon emissions made here in the country. This type of legislation will kill millions of jobs and put even more people out of work. Yay for higher unemployment rates!

What's really about to make my head just completely explode (or at least make my blood boil to the point of having a mild heart attack) is the fact that signing this treaty violates the Constitution. It clearly states in the Constitution that the president cannot sign any treaties without the consent of at least 2/3 of the Senate. This seems to mean jack squat to President Obama as he is doing everything he can to find some type of loophole to justify his making decisions on his own power without Congress.

He found just such a loophole in the EPA. If you've had your ear to the street (or your bloodshot eyes glued to idiot box) you know that the EPA just recently declared carbon dioxide a poisonous gas. The EPA has threatened that if there is no legislation put forward to regulate CO2 emissions, they would enforce some regulations themselves. Apparently due to this ruling by the EPA the president now has the power to sign this treaty without the consent of Congress.

This is truly a sad and scary time for America folks. When the president no longer cares what you think, and no longer abides by the checks and balances meant to prevent him from having too much power, you can guarantee troubling times are indeed ahead.

My question to all of America is how long are you going to continue letting the government get away with ignoring your voices? When are the American people going to snap out of the complacent doe-eyed trance it is in and see that our freedoms are being stripped away one by one?

The government is supposed to work for us. We are the boss and they are the employees. They work for US. Or at least they are supposed to. Don't you get it America? They think you are too stupid to run the country. They think they know more about what's best for you and your family than you do! And because we have all been asleep for so long, they have been able to slowly turn the tables on us and make us dependent on them to make the decisions.

Enough is enough! The power of this great nation does not lie with a single ruler, but with the people. We the people. We need to blow up the phone lines of our Senators and Representatives and demand for them to listen to the voice and will of the people.

We are not the minority, they are. There are more of us than there are of them. Let them hear the thunder of our voices as we demand to have the corruption kicked out of Washington. Let them hear the passionate patriots of America demand limited government and maximum freedom. Let them see that we are awake, that America is still alive, and that we will fight for her with every breath we have.

People's Law: Where Did It Come From Part 1

In my first post about the topic of People's Law, I discussed the reason why the other two major systems of government failed and why there was a need for a totally different type of governing system. I'm going to take just a bit here to recap why the Founding Fathers saw a need to develop a system of government that was run by the people and for the people.

The type of government that the American colonies were under before the Revolution was Ruler's Law, or a monarchy. A monarchy is a faulty system because it puts all aspects of the country under the rule of one man. That one man has absolute power and can make any type of legislation he or she sees fit to institute and push on the people. This type of power often led to leaders becoming drunk with power and greed, which in turn made them very oppressive to the people they ruled. High taxes, unfair laws, and a denial of property ownership are often results of a monarchy.

Monarchies also do not work because as Thomas Paine said, no man is perfect and thus since he is no better than the next, no one man should rule another. Due to the oppressive nature of monarchies people tend to swing to the complete opposite end of the spectrum which is just as bad. This would be called anarchy, and this means there isn't any law or government at all. This can very, very dangerous as there are no restrictions what people can do including the violation of the rights of others.

As you can see both extremes on the spectrum are evil, so there must be a system somewhere in the middle that will be a perfect balance between the two extremes. This is called People's Law. A system that was governed by laws and principles in a written constitution rather than the whims of men. A government that was run by the people, whose sole purpose was to protect the Constitution and the rights of the individual, rather than ruling them. Maximum freedom with the least amount of government interference. THAT is what America is supposed to be all about.

Origins Of People's Law In The Old Testament

Thomas Jefferson was one of the most influential Founders in our countries history. Jefferson was extremely fascinated by the history of ancient Israel as told in the Old Testament. Jefferson was a very highly educated individual and had spent a lot of time studying both the New Testament and Old Testament parts of the Bible.

One of the most fascinating stories for Jefferson was the story of how God delivered the Israelites from Pharaoh (Ruler's Law) and Egypt. In chapter 18 of Exodus we have the people of Israel freshly liberated from Ruler's Law in Egypt and Moses has taken full command over all the people. This of course meant that they were once again under Ruler's Law.

The problem began when Moses wasn't able to govern the people effectively due to the large population. He was dealing with court cases all day and STILL not effectively meeting the needs of the people. Jethro, Moses' father in law came to save the day.

Jethro suggested that they divide the people up into groups or families. Each group and family would elect a leader. They were divided into multiple sized groups and each group elected a leader to govern them.

All the leader would be in charge of hearing the cases and governing the laws of each of the families and groups. Only the major cases would go to Moses himself. They were a free people who governed themselves. Throughout history, whenever the Israelites enslaved others they were given a reprimand. God never intended us to be ruled by any other King but Himself. We are to be governed by laws and principles, while the government protects our rights and freedom.

In the next part I will sum up the components that made up the Israeli people's law system, and go over the other culture that inspired the Founders to adopt this type of governing system.

The Mighty Gore Has Spoken...And It Was A Train Wreck!

It seems the Mighty Gore has spoken once more and has filled the minds of the people of the earth with another nugget of his wisdom.........or not.

It seems Al Gore is making a habit out of looking like a fool in public. Apparently Mr. Gore, the official idiot spokesmen for all things green has once again gotten his "scientific facts" all jumbled in that melon of his. Maybe he's having a hard time keeping it all straight in the dome due to all those amazing poetic works floating around on all that hot air.

Gore was speaking at the Copenhagen summit when he delivered the fictional bombshell that the arctic would be completely ice free in just 5 years! Oh no! What about all those polar bears??

But then along comes Dr. Maslowski to burst the bubble of non-intelligence. Dr. Maslowski was the scientist that Gore claimed to have gotten this "fact" from in the first place. Maslowski claims that he has no real idea where the Goremiester got this from because he would never even try to estimate something that exact.

Big Al's administration admitted that the figure had come up years ago during a conversation between Gore and Maslowski.

Oh Al, you really are doing a great job. Thanks to your recent blunders more and more people are beginning to doubt the authenticity of this "global warming crisis" and starting to realize that it's all a scam. Keep up the good work Al!

Hey Liberal! Get Your Nose Out Of My Wife's Uterus!

I'm honestly in shock hearing about this story that just came out in the news today. It seems that the REAL threat to the planet is not greenhouse gases, but the entire human race in and of itself. So what do some liberals propose to do about the problem? They want to stick their noses into your or your wife's uterus and limit the amount of children you can have. Yes, that's right. They want to come up with some type of global legislation to limit the amount of children each family can have to one child per family. Wow. Don't believe me? Here's the link to the story:

Diane Francis, a Canadian journalist wrote the above article and had some very disturbing things to say about how to solve the "global climate crisis" (which science has proven doesn't actually exist).

Here's some of what she had to say:

"A planetary law, such as China's one-child policy, is the only way to reverse the disastrous global birthrate currently, which is one million births every four days.

The world's other species, vegetation, resources, oceans, arable land, water supplies and atmosphere are being destroyed and pushed out of existence as a result of humanity's soaring reproduction rate."

Ummm say what? The only way to save the planet is to wipe out the human race? According to Francis' implementing this law would drop the current population from 6.5 billion people down to 5.5 billion people by 2050 and down to 3.43 billion by 2075. Hmm....let's keep this line of logic going to it's obvious conclusion...the whole phasing out of the human race.

Or is it? A dirty little secret that most liberals are either unaware of or swept under the proverbial historical rug is their historical connection to the scientific fields of eugenics. Eugenics is basically an attempt to create a perfect, utopian society by eliminating the less genetically fit. Basically only those with good genes should be allowed to procreate and the criminals, less intelligent, poor, stupid, "defective" people should be forced to be sterilized or to get abortions.

This was precisely the line of thinking that Hitler and the Nazi party adopted to defend their actions when they tried to create a master race and eliminate the Jewish nation. Liberals have had a long history of supporting certain aspects of eugenics such as birth control, abortion, and forced sterilization.

One line of thought that stems from this dirty little secret is that many liberals in the past supported the systematic annihilation of African Americans by supporting the abortion of black babies. The reason for this is that they believed sociological data and statistics proved that since most crimes were committed by poor, black people, abortion was a way to stop poor black people from breeding and raising more criminals. This is horrible and deplorable. The resources from which I've gotten this information is in the book "Liberal Fascism" by Jonah Goldberg. There is a whole chapter that goes into great detail about this especially dark portion of Liberal history.

The one child only policy seems to me to be another form of eugenics trying to sneak it's way into the mainstream. I think they are trying to weed out the "bad" from the "good" by preventing those who are of undesirable genetic stock from having too many children. And what greater cover to use than the idea of saving the planet. It's all just a socialistic, fascist rouse to strip people of their rights and to make them slaves to the socialist system. How many freemen will lie down and let an oppressive government dictate to them how many children they can have?

Who will stand up, look these people in the eye and say "Hey Liberal! Get your nose out of my or my wife's uterus!" For years we've had feminists of all shapes and forms telling us we have no right to tell them what they can do with their body. Where are you now? Do you really mean what you say? Or is it all just talk to justify a lust for murder and avoidance of responsibility?

I pray that people see through junk like this. I pray that we would all ban together and stand against this type of tyranny the way our Founding Fathers did. I'm not calling for war violence. I'm calling for violence on the battlefield of ideas. Debate. Conversations. That is where the battle must be fought and won.

People's Law: What is It?

I decided to start this blog as a way to inform and educate people about the REAL history of their country. The history they do not get taught in schools due to all the liberal spin. I wanted to keep conservatives updated and informed about the condition of our country and to spread a passion for fighting for our freedom and standing up to protect our Constitutional rights. That being said, let's get familiar with some historical background of our great country.

I want to make it abundantly clear that I love my country. I'm a Christian who whole heartedly believes that God providentially put me in this country to enjoy the freedom to worship Him amongst many other freedoms that I enjoy as a citizen. I fully believe that as God has graciously granted me the gift of freedom, He has also divinely called me to protect those freedoms for my posterity (aka children and grandchildren) to enjoy as well. I'm simply a steward of what He has given me. Now, I also want to make it clear that I do not in any way support a Christian take over of America. I believe firmly in the freedom of religion, as it is this freedom that allows us Christians to preach the Word of God openly.

Turning this into a "Christian" nation would be an utter disaster. What you would have would be a fascist regime that would turn from crusaders of the gospel into self-righteous, blood thirsty dictators. That's because man can never be perfect, nor can he force other men to be perfect. Man cannot make a "heaven on earth." Sorry to disappoint all of you Marxists out there, but man is not inherently good. He is flawed. Deeply flawed.

This is precisely why one man is not fit to rule over another. Thomas Paine made this point eloquently in his fantastic work "Common Sense." Because man is imperfect he is highly susceptible to the seduction of corruption that comes with power. Monarchies do not work. Ruler's Law does not work. People know deep within their hearts that they cannot be absolutely governed by another man who has absolute power.

We also know that the opposite does not work. For man to have no one or no law governing him is anarchy, which is called No Law, and this is just as deadly and evil. The answer lies in the middle. The answer is People's Law. A government that is by the people, for the people, and of the people. A government that is not ruled by the whims of men, but by laws and principles. This is what our Founding Fathers had in mind when they built this country and its Constitution.

In my next blog post we'll discuss where the Founding Fathers came up with the idea of People's Law and the free market system of economics. I think it is absolutely crucial to see and understand where the Founding Fathers got these principles and ideas for our government so that we will see it for the awesome, beautiful thing that it is. I also believe that knowledge is power. The Left wants desperately to silence anyone who has a different opinion or view. They want to take away your voice so they can have more power. This is impossible if you know the truth. That is why they fight so hard to keep you FROM the truth. We must raise our voices, spread a deep passion for our freedoms, educate people, and get involved so that we can preserve a future for our children!
